Analytical equipment
High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC / MS) is absolutely necessary, in order to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis for environmental chemicals. Also, "smoking machine" is required to collect mainstream cigarette smoke.
However, these analytical instruments are very expensive (about 1,000 to 50 million yen) and it is difficult to deploy everything.
In our laboratory, we can conduct advanced research by using analytical equipments of the National Institute of Public Health.
In addition, we have the essential equipments such as HPLC, GC / MS, spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer moisture meter, etc in the our laboratory of Chiba University, so there is no problem to normal research.
